Denise DeVine

Hi, my name is Denise DeVine and I’ve been playing volleyball for 19 years. I started playing when volleyball when I was 14 in CA for Temescal Canyon High School. I played on the freshmen team and got moved up to varsity the end of that season to play DS for CIF. I didn’t start playing indoor club volleyball until I was 15 for 951 Elite still as an OH. We won the gold medal in 2009 for Junior Olympics. Once I graduated high school I received a scholarship to Cal-State Dominguez Hills. I was named player of the week a few times during the season, as well as New-Comer of the Year with multiple honorable mention All-American honors. I was named 2nd team All-Conference my true Freshman year. I am currently in the record books there for kills per set. Sophomore year I transferred to Grossmont College a JC in San Diego. During a recruitment try-out I was offered a full ride to Southern Arkansas University, an NCAA D2. There I was honored by receiving New-Comer of the Year with honorable mention All-American mentions. From there I transferred to an NAIA in Waleska, GA. At Reinhardt University I was named Player of the Year. I led the conference in kills and aces. After college I started playing grass volleyball. I started playing in Atlanta and it was the most fun by far. I started playing really well and have been doing well on the AVP Grass Tour. I started playing Beach Volleyball in 2018. I trained with the Pro Team Optimum Beach in St. Pete. I am currently pursuing AVP Grass. ☺️
