My why is to be a good role model. Coaching has allowed me to impact the youth and live out that why whilst growing the game that I love. From starting in a small town, I was encouraged to begin coaching at a young age to learn leadership skills and speed up my learning of the game. Since then, I’ve played under a variety of different coaches and worked amongst them as well from elementary school camps to Division 1 NCAA teams. From my experience as a player and coach, I’ve learned that one size doesn’t fit all and that there is a range of approaches in teaching someone the game to make it click for them. Specially from my background working with Todd Rogers and currently trained by Srdjan Veckov, I believe I have a good understanding for high level technique on the beach and how to think through the sport. As a player and coach, I value hard work and adaptability. I believe in learning how to play the game smarter, think outside the box, and controlling the things within your own control. Above all else, I believe in good character and I believe in going for a dream. From my experience as a player, I have lived and competed in Hawai’i, Los Angeles and Toronto. I am knowledgeable of local beach clubs in those respected cities and coaches for a few as well. I am eager to help athletes elevate their game and move closer to their goals no matter where they live and what training they have available to them. Let's get started!
